SIDE EFFECTS PLASTICS  

 The first human-made plastic was invented by Alexander Parkes in 1855; he called this plastic Parkesine (later called celluloid).

℗    The word plastic is derived from the Greek word plastikos meaning fit for molding, and plastos meaning molded.
